On Friday afternoon my work was having a lunch to celebrate the last day of school. Kyle was able to come home early from work to be with the girls while I went to the party. I was able to eat my lunch in peace without one of them needing my attention for a couple hours. Oh how nice that was!
Kyle and I had to meet Maric's contractor and architect at our new home in Bridgwater Forest for 5:30 p.m. We were doing our first walk through to look over some details and see how things were progressing. So far the house is framed, roof is on, stairs are in, front porch was complete and the deck was built. We discussed what we would do for the stairs as far as railings, or drywall and then talked about where we were putting a bulk head. We had to select where to have the attic on the second floor and then had to talk to them about the cut out that was missing for the forth bedroom window. Everything was fantastic! We love the progress so far and couldn't be happier. They said the shingles and windows were going in next week. We just need to finalize the cabinets, flooring, electronics and lighting.

After our walk through with Maric we went to meet our friends Crystal and Ryan at the Keg for dinner. They were treating us for dinner because Kyle had completed their taxes for them, aw the perks of being an accounts wife. I have known Crystal since my third year in University, we graduated together with our Education degrees. Her and Ryan are tying the knot this August 15th. I am a bridesmaid and am looking forward to all the fun we'll have at the wedding. It was a delicious dinner, of course I ordered steak but this time I ordered the sirloin oscar with shrimp and scallops. We were so stuffed, the Keg never disappoints. We had a fantastic dinner!
Both girls were being babysat Friday night. Abby stayed home with Kyle's mom Linda and Claire went off to my sister and Derrick's place for a sleepover. Abby gave Linda a rough time and wouldn't take the bottle, the little stinker but she eventually calmed down. Claire of course was fine and had a blast at my their condo going swimming, painting and playing at the park.
